Captain Marc Leuzinger | Swiss

Marc was born in Cannes, in the South of France, and grew up in West Africa with a passion for the outdoors and sports. During his youth, he enjoyed windsurfing, surfing, and sailing with his family along the Atlantic coast. Winter holidays were spent in the mountains, skiing and snowboarding in Switzerland and France. Marc joined the yachting industry in 1996 and began his career as a Captain. Over the years, he has commanded multiple yachts and built a long and successful career as a charter Captain. He has extensive cruising experience and takes great pride in working with his crew to ensure that every guest on board enjoys a memorable and exceptional experience.

Chief Engineer Hector Bergery Delgado | Cuban/Spanish

Hector has over 20 years of experience in the industry as a Chief Engineer. He graduated as a Naval Mechanical Engineer from the Naval Academy in Cuba and, after serving five years in the Cuban Navy, Hector transitioned into the yachting sector. Hector possesses in-depth knowledge of maintenance, troubleshooting, and the repair of complete engineering, electrical, and electronic systems. Known for his cheerful and approachable personality, Hector is a proud father and enjoys dancing and socializing. He is also an avid baseball fan.

First Officer Sam Dmytrenko | Ukrainian

Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, Sam grew up on the water, spending his childhood involved in sailing, alpine skiing, ice hockey, and kitesurfing, which shaped his strong sporting and maritime background. He graduated from a Maritime University with a degree in Navigation and continued his career as a professional sailor before transitioning into the yachting industry. Sam has been working in the yachting industry for the past six years and possesses the experience and knowledge required to ensure guest safety while delivering an exceptional onboard experience to the highest standards. She began her career aboard a 60-meter charter yacht, before transitioning into housekeeping where she continues to refine her skills and expand her experience. Known for her cheerful, bubbly personality and positive attitude, she is ambitious, athletic, and a true team player who embraces new challenges with enthusiasm. She is thrilled to be part of the DB9 team and sees this opportunity as an exciting step forward in her professional journey within the yachting industry.

Grace Cameron | South African

22 years old and originally from South Africa. Growing up in Cap Town. South Africa Shape her love for the ocean and hospitality which she carries into the work on board. Grace brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic and adaptability to every role, while maintaining a calm, approachable presence,
and a high standard of service on board Motor Yacht DB9. Outside the work, she enjoys staying active through running and gym, spending time at the beach, and being around nature. Deckhand Leo Leuzinger-Gousseff | French/Swiss

S/Y Sylvana Schooner 1910, 49 meters. Leo is a dedicated Deckhand with a true passion for the sea since a very young age. He’s someone who thrives in making sure everything runs smoothly on board, taking pride in handling the details that make a trip feel effortless for guests. Leo’s calm, focused nature helps create an environment where guests can relax and enjoy their experience, knowing everything is taken care of behind the scenes. While Leo’s primary focus is on maintaining a smooth operation, his positive energy and strong work ethic help contribute to the overall atmosphere onboard, ensuring that everyone can make the most of their time at sea. His approach is simple: work hard, stay focused, and always do what’s needed to make the experience great for the guests. Outside of work, Leo is passionate about paddle and surfing and he brings that same energy and drive to everything he does. Whether on the water or off, he’s always looking for new challenges and ways to grow, making him an enthusiastic and reliable member of any crew.

Passionate and energetic 19 years old deckhand/Stewardess who is dedicated to creating exceptional guest experiences. Being quite the perfectionist, she enjoys making things pristine and beautiful onboard and takes pride in ensuring guest feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly enjoy their time on board. She brings equal enthusiasm and energy to both deck and interior duties, always maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Previously being a cocktail bar manager has allowed her to be great behind a bar and creating vibrant drinks for guest. She is also working her way towards being a watersport instructor by gathering qualifications so that she can
enhance guest experience even more during their stay. With a genuine eagerness to learn and grow, she is focused on progressing towards her long-term goal of becoming a Chief Stewardess.
