Jeff Hurd and his chef/mate welcome you aboard the GRAND OASIS for the vacation of a lifetime!
Jeff hails from Colorado where he was born and raised. Jeff has a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology where he spent two years living with traditional cultures throughout the world. Before coming to the beautiful Caribbean, he held a faculty position at Colorado State University where he made documentary films for five years. He is the owner and captain of Grand Oasis and holds a 100 ton Master Mariners License. He is also a PADI certified SCUBA diver and private pilot. Jeff’s enjoys sharing with guests his extensive knowledge of the islands and his many adventures!
Amy is from Alabama and has worked with Jeff on a seasonal basis for the past five years. During the off season she obtained a B.A. in Psychology, became a PADI certified SCUBA diver and licensed Captain! Jeff works with a variety of freelance chefs whose skills in the galley always receive rave reviews besides customizing the menu to suit the guest’s preference!
