Rate Details:
RATES ARE ALL INCLUSIVE, PLUS FUEL:
Please add APA of 10% for fuel.
Single Star uses an average of 35 gal/day of diesel on charter. This includes the main engine, generators as well as the furnace for heating. Rate also includes pickup at airport, all meals served family style, daily guided shore excursions, all National Wildlife Refuge permits.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Rate does not include alcoholic beverages, clients are free to bring their own as desired or the yacht can provision at guest expense with advance notice.

ITINERARY TYPES:

FLY FISHING CRUISES: All Fly Fishing cruises are limited to 4 people actively fishing. A dinghy and flats boat are used for the tidal estuaries of rivers & small streams, usually with 2 people fishing from the flats boat & 2 in chest waders from shore at any given time. This allows Capt. Lee adequate time for each guest. There is no additional charge for fly fishing instruction.
For experienced fly fishers, Silver Salmon & Chum Salmon, both big and strong fish who will run into your backing every time - available early September yearly.
FISHING LICENSE COST: $60 p/p p/w at guest expense.

PHOTOGRAPHER AND NATURE LOVERS:
These trips give you a true taste of the Kodiak area with its Puffins, Kittiwakes, Sea Otters and a variety of Whales as well as American Bald Eagles, Coastal Brown Bears, Moose, and occasional foxes and wolves. May is the sea bird nesting month for the bird lovers.

Location Details:
The Kodiak Island Archipelago is a large group of islands about 30 miles from the Alaska Peninsula and 158 miles across the Gulf of Alaska from Homer, Alaska. WILDLIFE VIEWING:
Year around: Whale, Sea Otters, Sea Lions, Seals, Killer Whales, Fin Whales, American Bald Eagles, Deer, Elk, Brown Bears, and Fox.

Month of May: nesting sea birds (Puffins), Gray Whales, Humpback Whales

Ave. temperatures are moderate due to Japanese current:
Summer, day 55-60F / evening 50-55F
Winter, day 15-40F / evening 15-35F
Single Star is equipped with a 100,000 BTU furnace to keep guests comfortable and cozy.
All rates are for the entire yacht and are subject to change without notice prior to actual reservation. An additional premium maybe applied for Holiday Periods such as Christmas and New Year. A crew gratuity, at your discretion, but typically 10% to 20% of the rate is not included
