Crew Profiles: CAPTAIN - Vangelis Karapanos
Captain Vangelis has 18 years experience of sea service. He has sailed on Olympic class boats since a very young age and has received silver medals in the 470 and Star Sailing. He sailed the 500 years of Columbus Transatlantic Race. He has been on board s/y “Callisto” for the past 12 years. Vangelis speaks fluent English. He is 38 years old, married and has one child.
CHEF – Konstantina Samara
Konstantina has 10 years of experience onboard charter yachts. She is very pleasant and she will always be there to fulfill clients’ wishes. Konstantina speaks fluent English and is 32 years old.
STEWARDESS – Christina Anna Benita Nymark
Christina was born in Finland and has a long experience on board private and professional sailing yachts. She is 25 years old and speaks fluent Swedish and English as well as conversational Finnish and German. Christina is in charge of service and accommodation. Her hobbies are swimming, skiing, jogging and bicycling.
SAILOR – Nikos Peronis
Nikos is 22 years old and has three years of experience onboard professional sailing yachts. He is also an instructor at the Lifeguard Club, worked on a lifeboat and he was also a lifeguard volunteer for the Olympic Games. He speaks conversational English.
