| WANDERER | | | Captain: Steve Frischmann | Nationality: | | Number of Crew 2 | | Crew Profiles: Captain Steve Frischmann,, American/Australian
Over a long career in professional yachting, Steve has done it all – mate and captain on day charters on the Great Barrier Reef, captain of private motor yachts, captain of a research vessel in Bermuda and crew for international regattas and ocean races. Steve has sailed extensively in his home waters on the East Coast of Australia, the Western Med, the East coast of the US, Bahamas, Turks & Caicos, the Eastern Caribbean, the UK and Scotland. He holds USCG and MCA 3000 Gross Ton Ocean Licenses.
Steve returned to his true passion, sailing, as skipper on WANDERER. In addition to his sailing skills and six years as charter crew, his work as an electronics technician is a plus in keeping all systems running. Steve enjoys having children of all ages aboard and is always ready and willing to tow little ones on the doughnut. The 13 foot tender’s 40 hp engine makes waterskiing fun for teens and adults while the inflatable kayak is popular with everyone. After dinner entertainment includes board games and a large selection of DVDs.
When he’s on land, Steve likes to stretch his legs running, skiing and rollerblading. He was a professional musician for years, so expect the music library on WANDERER to be comprehensive.
