Being brought up on the island of Malta, Hoss gained a natural flair for the sea from a very young age. In 2004 he decided to leave behind his routine island life in Malta to join the yachting industry. He joined Andromeda La Dea in March 2008 after a year of traveling and sailing in French Polynesia. Hoss is a keen sailor who loves diving, photography, traveling to remote places and reading.

After completing his Diploma at the University of Auckland, Thomas was employed as a marine electronic engineer in Auckland’s Viaduct from 2003 to 2007. During this time Thomas also traveled to Japan to attend a Furuno training course in deep sea commercial equipment. Thomas then joined Andromeda La Dea to enjoy new challenges and adventure.

Nicole joined her passions of both cooking and sailing when she joined the yachting industry in 2003. She worked as both a freelance yacht chef and independent private caterer for 2 years before seeking out a superyacht in 2005 which both chartered and acted as mothership to a world-famous race boat. She joined Andromeda La Dea after an eight month stint of travel in Africa and Europe during which she continued to seek out and learn new culinary techniques and trends.
