BRAD LUCAS 1ST MATE ( 32 yr old AUSTRALIAN )
Brad is from Sydney Australia, and has been working in the motor yacht industry for the last 7 years. 3 years of this time he worked onboard an extremely busy yacht called KISSES, where he began as Deckhand and left as the 1st Mate. He then joined a classic yacht called ISTROS, and after 3 years decided to take on a new build of a Lurssen 70m yacht called SAINT NICOLAS. He was involved in the last 3 months of the build and was instrumental in setting up this world-class motor yacht.
Brad loves being at sea and has travelled extensively during his career including: Eastern and Western Mediterranean, East coast of the U.S. and the Caribbean. Brad has sailed 4 Atlantic crossings.
Brad is a very happy and outgoing person who enjoys providing fun on the water for the guests whether it is water skiing, snorkelling, diving or simply a cruise in the tender.
WADE STUBBS ENGINEER ( 30 yr old AUSTRALIAN )
Wade is from a small country town bear the sea in New South Wales, Australia called Moruya. Being raised on a farm, it was natural for him to be fixing or breaking anything he could get his hands on!
This led to a Plant Mechanic apprenticeship in 1994 where he graduated and soon became involved with mobile marine repairs being flown all around the country to repair sports fishing boats. He completed studies not long afterwards in Marine Engineering and soon joined his first boat in the superyacht industry in the year 2000.
Since then, he has worked on several yachts as Chief Engineer and he has been involved in several new-build construction projects. He has developed into a talented Chief Engineer who keeps everything running smoothly.
His main interests are watersports and photography.
CHRIS HOLLIS BOSUN ( 28 yr old AUSTRALIAN )
Chris is also a Sydneysider and has been boating for most of his life. He started with weekends with his family in Pittwater and Sydney harbour. He fell in love with water, and so began his working life as an instructor at the age of 19. He quickly moved up the ranks to skippering ocean and coastal races in Australia and the UK.
After 7 years of sailing, Chris decided to move to the superyacht industry to see more of the world whilst pursuing his love of the water, adventure and travel.
Before joining Lady Joy, he was onboard SIRONA for 18 months.
DANIEL MASSARA DECKHAND ( 24 yr old AUSTRALIAN )
Daniel is from Freemantle, Western Australia, and is also enjoying his first year in the super yacht industry. He joined the vessel before the launch, and has assisted in delivering the yacht from the west coast to the east coast of the US, as well as help set up and maintain the exterior of the yacht.
He holds an Australian Class 5 skippers ticket and so will ensure the guests safety when taking them in the tenders ashore, or for watersports. Before joining the LADY JOY, he was part of the family fishing business which included working lobster, tuna and prawning vessels.
He is an energetic person who loves being on the sea and in the open air, as well as snorkelling, diving, fishing and having a good time!
KYLIE ELLERY CHIEF STEWARDESS ( 30 yr old NEW ZEALANDER )
Kylie is from Auckland and has been a Stewardess on motor yachts for the last 5 years.
Her previous experience includes Chief Stewardess on the classic yacht ISTROS for the past 3 years. More recently she was 2nd stewardess on a 70 m Lurssen new-build called SAINT NICOLAS. Here she was involved in the last 3 months of the build setting up this world class motor yacht.
Kylie has sailed to many popular cruising areas, such as the French Riviera, Italy, Sardinia, Aeolian Islands, Croatia, Montenegro and the Caribbean. She loves the excitement and challenge of working on motor yachts, and always offers her guests the highest level of service and always with a smile. She is very creative and enjoys creating striking table decorations and creating a memorable experience for her guests.
Kylie is enjoying being onboard LADY JOY, and is looking forward to a successful season.
DELPHINE FRANCOIS 2nd STEWARDESS ( 25 yr old FRENCH )
Delphine is from Nice, France, and enjoying her first year in yachting onboard LADY JOY.Previously she has been a yachts agent working for Lunautica based in Nice. During this time she gained valuable experience in understanding the high level of service required.
She is fluent in French and English, and competent in Spanish, Italian and German. With a basic knowledge of Greek and Latin.
She likes to travel, learn new languages and meet people from foreign cultures.
