Captain: Kostas Papanikolatos
Captain Kostas is from the island of Cephalonia, holds a Class A Captain’s certificate and has over 20 years sea service experience. After graduating from the Merchant Marine Academy, he embarked on his career with Ocean going vessels (container ships), and then he moved to luxury cruise and passengers ships all over the world. He has excellent knowledge of the Mediterranean Sea as well as the Caribbean waters. He joined us this year bringing along all his valuable experiences. Seawater activities, such as diving, swimming and fishing, are his passion. He is 45 years old, married with 2 children and fluent in English.
Chief Engineer: Stamatis Betsis
Our Chief Stamatis is 41 years old and was born in Methena of Attika. He graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy as an engineer officer. For 16 years he has worked with Costamare on container vessels. He has 5 years already on M/Y "Carmen Serena" and he is very experienced in his trade. He is very athletic and passionate with all seawater activities, especially swimming and fishing. His knowledge of English is good.
Bosun: Giannis Brikos
Giannis was born on the island of Imvros and has served at sea for 20 years. He begun his career working on Ocean going vessels and then switched for 4 years to luxurious charter yachts. He has already been with us for the past 5 years. He is passionate with all seawater activities and has a license to drive motor boats. He is 50 years old and has basic knowledge of English.
A.B. (Assistant Bosun: Florante Sebastian
Florante has been working on Ocean going vessels and on luxury yachts. He is a certified sailor and very experienced. He is 45 years old, and has good knowledge of English.
Chef: Panagiotis Saridis
Panagiotis has joined us since last season bringing with him his passion for cooking. He started his career as a cook in five star Hotels as well as in very well known restaurants in Athens. He is a master of the Greek and International cuisine. He is also very creative and strives to satisfy his guests at all times. He is 38 years old and fluent in English. He enjoys very much working out in a gym, going to the movies and traveling.
Stewardess: Ioanna Teliou
Ioanna has recently joint us but her love and passion for her work made her an integral member of our team. She holds traditional cooking degree and has many years of experience as an employee of catering and event planning firms as well as a stewardess in luxury yachts. She is very pleasant, attentive to detail and always ready to satisfy the guests in every possible way. She is 34 years old, fluent in English, and she likes very much cooking her preferable dishes.
Steward: Demetris Modinos
Demetris was born in Athens. He has worked in several first class restaurants for 4 years and joined M/Y "Carmen Serena" on the year 2000. Demetris will do everything in his power to keep his guests happy at all times. He is a big sports fun and enjoys swimming in particular. He is 33 years old and his command of the English language is very good.
Assistant Stewardess: Obdulia Araya
Obdulia came to us from Philippines. She has worked before on Cruise ships as well as in luxury yachts. She is very enthusiastic and responsible with her work, ready to provide assistance whenever needed. She is 39 years old and has good knowledge of English.
