Captain: Harris Metaxas
Captain Harris has twenty one years of experience in seagoing duties. He is a qualified "Master" on any vessel with unlimited tonnage and trading area. He is also holder of a "Chief Officer's Diploma" issued by the British Coastguard (MCA). For the past 4 years he was serving aboard a luxurious vessel where he had the privilege to serve many well known figures from the world of finance, politics and the church. He strives to attain the highest standards possible, always aiming to create a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere for the guests and a professional attitude towards the crew. He is 44 years old, married with two children and likes very much traveling, reading, sports and computers. He is fluent in English.
Chief Engineer: Thanassis Christofis
Our Chief Engineer, Thanassis, has been in sea service for about 17 years. After graduating from the Merchant Marine Academy, Engineering Dept. he worked on Ocean going vessels. For the last years he has been working on mega yachts as chief engineer. He was born in Samos Island 43 years ago, speaks English and is married with 2 children.
Bosun: Pantelis Stavros
Pantelis is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy and holds a "Third Officer's" Certificate. He started his career aboard Merchant Marine vessels and he continued working as a Bosun on Cruise Ships. He loves sports and is passionate with beach volley and diving. He is 29 years old and fluent in English.
A.B. (Assistant Bosun: Norman David
Norman has been working on Ocean going vessels and he is a certified sailor. He is very energetic and passionate with his work. Since he is very willing to take over every chore, he is considered extremely important member of the crew. He is 42 years old, very experienced and has good knowledge of English.
Chef: Nikos Vagenas
Nikos studied in the Hotel & Tourism School in Düsseldorf Germany, in the cooking division. After graduating he worked in several restaurants in Germany and Greece, as well as in some luxury yachts. He is passionate with cooking and since he joined M/Y Carmen Fontana he brought with him his sense of perfection and creativity. He will do everything in his power to satisfy our guests. He has great knowledge of Greek and International cuisine. He is fluent in German and his English is very good as well. He is married with two children.
Chief Steward: Michalis Papalekakos
Michalis is a certified chief steward. He has worked on luxury cruise ships for 8 years where he traveled almost everywhere in the world from Europe to America and the Antarctic. For the past 6 years he has been working as chief steward in luxury yachts and coming to "Carmen Fontana" he brought along his many and valuable experiences. He is very attentive to detail and will do his best to satisfy every need of our guests. Fishing, traveling and sports are his hobbies. He is 36 years old, married with 2 children and fluent in English.
Stewardess: Evangelia Pitsikali
Evangelia is 30 years old and she is a certified stewardess. Since her graduation from the Maritime Lyceum she has worked in several five star hotels and luxury yachts. She loves her work and always strives to satisfy her guests in the best possible way. Music and travelling are her hobbies. She is fluent in English.
Assistant Stewardess: Sara Jane Quimpo
Sara Jane is a Business Administration graduate but the hotel world has inspired her more than her actual profession. For the last seven years she has been working in five star hotels as chambermaid and then in cruise ships and luxury yachts. She is 35 years old and fluent in English.
