CAPTAIN Jack Boye:
Jack has USCG master 100ton license with sailing endorsement. His sailing CV is very extensive. He is the only American to have completed three major solo races. The BOC Single Handed Around the World Race, The OSTAR Trans Atlantic Race and the French Route du Rhum Race. Add five Bermuda One/Two Races, racing from Cape Town to Brazil, sailing Jamestown R.I. to Norway, and to and from Maine and the Caribbean, Jack has at least 80,000 nautical miles under his keel and counting.

Jack attended Penn State University on a football scholarship and played for Coach Joe Paterno.He graduated with a BA in American History. After serving his country in Viet Nam, a highly decorated Army Airborne Captain, Jack went to work on Wall Street for the next twenty five years. While there, he started one of the first discount brokerage firms and largest wholesale execution firms.

With his love of the sea, Jack started many children's charities beginning in NYC to promote mentoring inner city youth through the sport of sailing. He dedicated his races to the charities and named his boats Project City Kids and Ocean Kids.

Jack now enjoys sailing catamaran Pride in the islands of the Caribbean and the coast of Maine. He is particularly fond of Eco-Charters where Pride can take guests to unspoiled locations. Yacht Pride is able to access pristine nature preserves which are unavailable to larger vessels.


CHEF/HOSTESS Susan Boye:
Susan grew up in Barrington, Rhode Island and was an active member of the Barrington Yacht Club. She spent all her childhood summers sailing Narragansett Bay and Newport and her winters skiing in the White Mountains.

She attended Prep school and then early admission to the University of New Hampshire. She had and still has a love of science and art so she majored in Botany and a minored in Fine Art. In her early years she managed greenhouse production in Washington State and developed wild blueberry fields in rural Maine.

She later earned a B.S.degree in Nursing and worked in major Boston hospitals specializing in Orthopedics and Neurology. For the past 15 years she has operated her own business as RN Muscular therapist working with MD referred patients with Chronic Pain conditiions.

An active, outdoors person, Susan has hiked and skied throughout Switzerland,Germany, Scotland, the Sierra mountains, and the Olympic's in Wasington State. She still looks forward to new challenges in sailing and mountaineering.

Susan has lived and worked in the Caribbean and sailed the Leewards, Windwards, BVI's and USVI's aboard both mono-hull and catamaran yachts. Susan's culinary forte is primarily French in influence as she is a student of Bon Appetit as well as the Culinary Academy of Quebec. Susan Pride's herself on fresh herbs and ingredients used in her dishes. She is famous for superb salads and fresh baguettes oven baked aboard Pride. Enjoy amazing and delicious French, Traditional New England fare and her excellent gourmet creations inspired by tastes of the Caribbean.
