Captain – Lefteris Papadomichelakis
Captain Lefteris graduated from the Hydra Marine Academy and holds a Captain Class C Diploma. He also holds Certificates of General Operator of Global Maritime, Arpa Radar, Operator of Automatic Radar Plodder Aids, Panic Management and Medical Care On Board ship. Captain Lefteris has several years of experience on various luxury yachts and enjoys sharing secrets of the sea with his guests. He speaks English and is well known for his welcoming hospitality.
Chief Engineer – Vasilios Marakis
Mr. Vasilios has sailed throughout the Eastern and Western waters on numerous cargo ships gaining great engineering experience. He has spent the past 5 years working in the yachting industry as Engineer on luxury yachts. His knowledge and wide experience in the field will ensure passengers safe and smooth cruises.
Chef – George Koudouris
Mr. George can well be considered one of the best chefs in Greece. He has prepared meals for countless worldwide celebrities that have visited Greece including famous
actors, actresses and politicians. His experience with guests from around the globe facilitates him to offer the highest quality food combined with the ability to adjust to
the personal tastes of each client. Over the years, George has worked with many top restaurants in Greece including the “Sea-Side” Restaurant in Santorini as well as on
board many cruise ships. George has extensive knowledge and experience of the art, much stemming from his beginning education at the Palmie University. Beginning
on the first of 2006 George is now a member of the European Community of Chefs. George is 40 years old and enjoys anything related to the sea.
Chief Steward – Evangelos Mentis
Mr. Evangelos guarantees to deliver refined and attentive service to his guests. He masters the art of perfection, which makes him a favorite on board. He is most attentive, making sure that the desires of his guests are fulfilled at all times, even when they may not know it. It is this excellent yet discreet service that makes him a gem of the sea. Mr. Evangelos worked for many years on board Celebrity Cruises and Royal Olympic Cruises. He speaks English and enjoys fishing.
Assistant Stewardess – Agata Bankovska
Ms. Agata holds a stewardess Diploma from the Maritime College of Ukraine. She is the youngest crew member on board, however, this does not limit her excellent hosting abilities. Ms. Agata looks forward to welcoming the guests of O’RION on board and making their vacation unique
Assistant Stewardess – Ms. Olena Schacheva
Ms. Olena holds a Stewardess Diploma from the Maritime College of Ukraine. She has many years of experience as a stewardess on various cruise liners throughout the European, Mediterranean and Caribbean waters. She speaks English
Bosun – Mr. George Bristiolas
Mr. Panagiotis has extensive experience on board luxury motor yachts for more than 20 years. He holds Certificates for Advanced Safety onboard and STCW 95, life saving and fire fighting training, RO-RO passenger and Tanker Safety diploma as well as having received certification for pollution prevention at sea. Moreover, he has a Fast-boat handler’s permit. Mr. Panagiotis has served on board “Anemos I”, “Marianna 9”, “Tindareo”, “Carmen Fontana”, and has been onboard “O’Rea” since 2003. He is 50 years old and enjoys fishing.
Officer – Mr. Apostolos Mantis
Mr. Apostolos has a 3rd officer license. After completing his studies in the Naval School he began his first experience on large cargo vessels. He has found an
appreciation for working on large luxury yachts as the interaction with guests has allowed him to combine his skill of the waters with his hospital and social nature. |
