Brett is a born & bred Englishman, who learnt to sail on Lasers & Enterprises at his local yacht club.
He had an extremely successful career with BMW motorcars, but on his time off, Brett would take every opportunity he could to go sailing. Over the course of ten years he cruised and raced the coast of England, The Channel Islands, the Mediterranean, Southern Pacific, Australia, Atlantic and Caribbean.
After qualifying as an RYA Yachtmaster, Brett raced across the Atlantic on a Farr 65, and then based himself in Antigua, where he delivered and raced a variety of yachts throughout the Caribbean.
Brett met Veronica in Antigua, where they lived together before deciding to combine their talents and work in the yachting industry. Brett offers an in-depth knowledge of the Caribbean, a great sense of humor and a deep knowledge of nautical history and piracy.
Veronica grew up sailing on the beautiful Norfolk coast, in England. At the age of twelve she joined the Ocean Youth Club and sailed to France, Holland and the South Coast of England. At 15 she secured a place on a leg of a world circumnavigation, and so sailed from New Zealand to Australia. She managed to raise all the finance for the trip, whilst at school, through fundraising and local sponsorship.
Back in England, Veronica gained a BA (hons) in Business Studies whilst simultaneously developed her culinary skills, attending classes at ‘Le Cordon Bleu’ and the ‘Divertimenti Cookery School’. Veronica loves out-door activities, and is always ready for a swim or a hike.
Brett and Veronica make a charming, enthusiastic & experienced team. They have worked together on yachts in the Caribbean for the past five years.
