Taconite, a yacht with a long history in the Pacific Northwest, is now available for charter. She was launched in Coal Harbour, Vancouver on June 11, 1930 as a wedding gift from Mr. William E. Boeing, Sr. to his wife Bertha. Built primarily of Burmese teak, she was designed with comfort and seaworthiness in mind. For most of her seventy-four years Taconite served as a home for the Boeings, regularly cruising up the BC coast as far north as Alaska. A unique vacation awaits you as you join Taconite on her return to familiar waters off the spectacular coast of British Columbia and Alaska.
