Crew Profiles: Metin Karaman(Captain)
Captain Metin has been with the Karadeniz fleet for 10 years now carrying the unforgettable memories of many successful East / West Med, six Caribbean and one Seychelles seasons. He crossed the Atlantic for the seventh time this year, leading a super crew and having a successful journey from Istanbul to St.Martin. He is now ready to be a part of many memories of very successful charters and “dream journeys” to amaze his guests while sailing the Caribbean. He is a natural entertainer and a good team leader. Metin speaks English and he is happily married with two children.
Mehmet (Chef)
With perfect culinary skills, Mehmet has been the chef of PRINCESS ZEYNEP for three years including an amazing Caribbean season. He is a very experienced and talented chef, who received his “masters” degree in Ciragan Kempinski Hotel in Istanbul. Being an expert on traditional Turkish hors d’oeuvres, he also specialises in international cuisine and has mastered the skills of a true Sushi Chef. He will surely fulfil even the most demanding culinary expectations of our guests, with a warm smile on his face. He speaks fluent English.
Necati (First Mate)
This will be Necati’s sixth season on board PRINCESS ZEYNEP. He is a charming and friendly person known as “Mr. Do it all” and will conquer every heart on board with his warm and happy personality. He enjoys entertaining all guests with his hospitable ways and will make everyday a memorable moment while on board. He has PADI diving certificate. He speaks good English and some Spanish.
Hasim (Engineer)
Hasim joined the Karadeniz Yachting in 2004. After a long and successful journey to the Seychelles in the winter 2005, he proved himself as a very competent and experienced crew member on board PRINCESS ZEYNEP. He is an expert on marine engines and he ensures that all systems on board are working perfectly. He speaks English.
Soner (Deck hand)
Soner is 25 years old and he joined our fleet last summer. He has exceptional work experience on charter yachts along the Turkish coast and is an educated seaman. He is specialized in water sports. He is very helpful and friendly, doing his job in perfect order as a part of the team. He speaks English.
Muhterem(Stewardess)
Muhterem has been working with Karadeniz Yachting for the last 2 years. She completed two busy summer season in the Med and one winter season in the Seychelles with PRINCESS ZEYNEP. She is a hard working team member, aiming high standards of hosting for the guests and always ready to accomplish their needs on board. She speaks good English.
